Boarding

Canter Down Farms (CDF) offers different boarding packages. They range in stall size and type of services for your horse depending on its needs and yours. Here at CDF, we believe that a good quality feed and hay promotes happy and healthy horses. Our grain consists of a high fiber, beat pulp based senior feed. Our hay consists of Orchard, Timothy and Alfalfa grasses.  We also provide your horse with large, beautiful maintain pastures to graze on under the Oak trees. 

Horses are offered daily or nightly turnout and either individually or in small groups.  When your horse is in its stall, it is provided with fresh shavings almost daily as well as the following amenities: mats, automatic water bowls, automatic fly system, fans, and a hay rack that is always filled. In winter, large blocks are also provided in the fields, (this is an additional cost.)

 CDF facilities also include...

• a bathroom with changing room area and washer/dryer
• ceiling fans in aisle way
• 3 tack rooms, one has AC.
• refrigerator and microwave
• 2 fully equipped jumping arenas with proper clay base footing and drainage. 
• 60-meter round pen
• lighted arena

• observation areas under shade trees
• outside and covered wash racks
• trailer parking (Additional $50 monthly)
• soaked Alfalfa cubes/pellets and or beet pulp. (Additional cost)
• an automatic fly system that goes through out the entire barn
• owner/trainer on premises.
• close proximity to Spruce Creek Preserve for miles of trail riding.

We believe in good footing is a must so proper grading of the arena is done regularly.           

Dressage letters are also provided in one of the arenas.

· Up to 5 pads of T/A, or Orchard hay per day

· Stall fan provided by CDF in every stall

FULL ELITE BOARD

• unlimited amount of Alfalfa, T/A, Orchard hay and winter blocks provided.

For our seasonal boarders that are passing thru and need weekly or monthly boarding. CDF can take care of the feeding, cleaning, and turnout for you as well and any other services can be provided as needed for additional charge.
